This by-law helps protect peace and quiet by regulating unnecessary or disruptive noise that can affect others’ enjoyment of their property.

- Likely to disturb others
- Loud music or sound systems (amplified sound)
- Persistent barking or animal noise
- Fireworks used outside permitted dates/times
- Construction or equipment without proper mufflers
- Repetitive or ongoing domestic noise (e.g., loud tools, machinery)
- Revving engines unnecessarily
- Not allowed for more than 5 minutes while stationary
- Extreme weather (heating/cooling needs)
- Equipment operation requirements
- Emergency or essential functions
